End of the year 2025 - Recap

2025 represented our “baptism of fire” and a pivotal moment in our entrepreneurial journey. In these first months of activity, we would find out the true fate of our business project. Does the market actually need our know-how? All the feedback we have gathered, all the partnerships we have signed, and all the contracts finalized have provided a clear and unequivocal answer: a resounding YES.

CEO Elia Vignoli went into greater detail about the past year in the video available at this link. In summary, all the objectives we set for ourselves at the time of incorporation for this year have been achieved. With approximately €50k in revenue, we are preparing to welcome a 2026 that promises to be full, demanding, and like 2025, crucial for the beginning of a scaling phase. Next year as well, we intend to continue focusing on the three core activities that define our work: 1) business consulting; 2) product development; 3) training and knowledge sharing. We are confident that the year ahead will be positive, stimulating, and rewarding.

Q2 2025 - Recap

As of June 30, we wrapped up our first (almost) full quarter, and things kicked off even better than we expected
Over the past three months, we signed 7+ NDAs and took part in our very first exhibition as exhibitors. There, we showcased a live demo highlighting the vibration detection capabilities of our radar solutions.
Throughout the process, we gathered valuable feedback, connected with inspiring national and international companies, and laid the groundwork for exciting future collaborations.
The journey ahead is long, but with these foundations, it's going to be an incredible ride.

Deep Radars is born!

We are pleased to announce the launch of Deep Radars Srl, an innovative start-up based in Modena, at the heart of the Motor Valley. This new venture was born from the vision of four electronic engineers—Giorgio Guerzoni (postdoctoral research fellow), Elia Vignoli (PhD student), Pasquale Di Viesti (RTDA researcher), and Prof. Giorgio Matteo Vitetta—all affiliated with SIGCOMLAB, the Telecommunications Laboratory of the Enzo Ferrari Department of Engineering at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.

Driven by a shared ambition—now turned into reality—the founders aimed to create a company grounded in the solid expertise they developed over the past five years within the lab. The company, which is also recognized as an external spin-off of Unimore, is committed to advancing innovation in millimeter-wave radar devices, promoting the integration of this technology into the production processes of companies across Italy.

In its initial phase, the start-up will collaborate closely with SIGCOMLAB to offer consulting services to businesses in the field of radar applications and, subsequently, to develop custom hardware devices.
